A row is where our catalogue places a Czech carrier, nothing more precise. The IP comes from that carrier’s pool, and its town is set by whichever database you ask, not by us. When your address arrives, read it through What Is My IP or the IP checker and note the town they report before you build reports on it.
Czech searchers have a home-grown engine in Seznam as well as Google. A rank tracker for Czech terms can run both from the same fixed Czech address and compare them week by week. A site that ranks on one engine and not the other shows up in that comparison; a Google-only report never reveals it. Label every row with the engine it came from; two series blended into one chart hide exactly the gap you set out to measure.
Seznam also runs Sreality.cz for property, Zboží.cz for comparing shop prices and Firmy.cz for business listings. Collecting public listing data from them through a Czech address shows the pages as Czech visitors meet them. Keep to each portal's terms, and to the pages anyone can open without an account. Listings may change from day to day, and runs from one Czech origin on a fixed schedule give you a series in which each change is the portal's own.
Seznam sells advertising through a system of its own, Sklik. An advertiser who buys on both Sklik and Google can check from a Czech address whether each campaign appears where it was paid to, and whether its landing pages match the ads, instead of reading two dashboards and hoping they agree. The two systems sell different inventory, so a gap between their numbers may be expected; a gap between the ad and its landing page is not. Each system reports what it says it delivered; a visit from a Czech address shows what was actually on the page.
Banks, health services and government portals in Czechia sit on the list we verify before opening access. Ask first if you need one; the categories are in the acceptable use policy. Search, maps, listings and ads, the work this page describes, need no such review.
Ivo Lukačovič started Seznam in Prague in 1996 as a Czech internet directory and search service. For years it was one of the few search engines outside the United States and China to hold a substantial share of its home market against Google, which is why a Czech search audit may need to look at two engines rather than one.
Google gradually became the dominant search engine in the Czech Republic during the early 2010s. Seznam answered by widening its network of Czech-language services rather than competing on search alone: email, news under Seznam Zprávy, video on Stream.cz and its own advertising. Sreality.cz, Zboží.cz and Firmy.cz belong to the same group. A Czech visibility audit has more than one search box to look at as a result, and more than one listing to keep up to date.
Seznam's map service, long known as Mapy.cz, now runs as Mapy.com. Links, citations and local-business checks written against the old name may need updating, and both names belong in any search for references to a company's map listing. The service is Czech either way; only its address changed. If you track local-business visibility in Czechia, check a firm's entry on Mapy.com alongside its Firmy.cz listing, since both belong to the same group.

The country and the carrier are fixed when you order, so the code carries neither. Put in the host, port, username and password that come with the address, send one request, and check that the response reports the country you ordered.
Questions from Czech marketers and researchers about addresses and Seznam, answered from the catalogue and the sources noted in this page.
For Czechia the catalogue carries one carrier today, Lietpark Communications. Its appearance here follows from the address announcement we can observe, and independent checkers display the identical name. It is not evidence about which operator provides service to ordinary customers, and we do not suggest otherwise.
Seznam is built for Czech-language search, and it began in 1996 as a Czech directory before it was an engine. A Czech address makes the request come from the country its results serve, and running Google from the same address turns the exercise into a comparison between engines rather than between locations.
Mapy.cz and Mapy.com need not be tracked separately: treat them as one service under two names: the map service formerly called Mapy.cz is Mapy.com today. Older backlinks and citations carry the old name, so include both when you search for mentions. A local-business check that searches only the new name will undercount the old citations.
No: Sklik is not part of Google Ads. Sklik is Seznam's own advertising system, run apart from Google's and sold by the same company that runs the engine, the portals and the news site. A campaign for Czechia may be bought on both, and each needs checking on its own placements.
Yes: a ProxyJam IP in Czechia can track Sklik ads and Seznam rankings together. One Czech address can run your Seznam rank checks and your Sklik placement checks side by side, and the same address can do the Google half of each. Keeping all four on one origin means the differences you record are between engines and ad systems, not between locations.
Not necessarily. ProxyJam lists the network that announces the address; the registry record can name another holder, so check both with a lookup. IP Checker
No. A ProxyJam ISP proxy in Czechia is chosen by carrier, not town; the address comes from that carrier's pool, so look up where it surfaces once issued. What Is My IP
No. A ProxyJam IP in Czechia stays the same from the day you order to the end of the paid period.
