Where our catalogue lists each carrier in Georgia

CarrierFrom / IP / monthWhere we list it

The table records where our catalogue files each Georgian carrier; it is not a statement about where an address will geolocate. Your IP comes from the chosen carrier’s pool and a database may report a different town for it. Verify it after delivery with What Is My IP or the IP checker and note what the lookup returns, since we promise the carrier and never the town.

How do Georgian readers see Georgian text?

Should headings stay in lower case?

A site translated into Georgian from a Latin-script original may keep styling that sets menus or headings in capitals. Before Unicode 11 that styling did nothing to Georgian text; afterwards a mapping existed, and a W3C note records that such translated pages could end up showing empty boxes. Load your Georgian pages from an address in Georgia, on the browsers you support, and look at the headings before anything else.

Does search fold Georgian case correctly?

Case-insensitive search, sorting and deduplication usually fold text to one case first. Since 2018 Unicode has defined Mtavruli as the upper case of Mkhedruli, so a library may treat a Georgian word in capitals and the same word in ordinary letters as equal, or may not, depending on the Unicode version it follows. Test your shop's search with both forms from a Georgian address and see which results Georgian visitors get.

How does all-caps Georgian creative appear?

A Georgian banner or title may be set in Mtavruli, the all-caps form, for emphasis. Checking placements from an address on a Georgian carrier's network shows the creative Georgian viewers are served, and a saved image of each placement settles whether the capitals rendered or fell back to empty boxes on the font in use.

Which fonts lack the Georgian capitals?

A W3C font test found that some fonts displayed Mtavruli and others, such as Arial Unicode MS and Sylfaen, did not. A Georgian page can therefore look right on one device and broken on another. Captures taken through a fixed Georgian address on a set of devices give a record of which combinations fail, with the network origin held constant so it can be ruled out. Note the browser and the font with every capture.

Do Georgian banks and state services need verification?

Financial services, healthcare and government systems are the regulated sectors named in our acceptable use policy. Plans that include a Georgian target in one of them start with our verification, so write to us before you order.

Georgian letters and their case

Does Georgian have everyday capitals?

Contemporary Georgian script does not recognise capital letters: text is written in Mkhedruli, and a sentence or a name begins with the same letters as any other word. Mtavruli, the capital form, is used only for all-caps text such as titles, or to emphasise a word. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries some writers used it for proper nouns and sentence starts, as Latin and Cyrillic do, but that is not the practice today. A Georgian keyword list therefore has no capitalised variants to add, unlike an English one.

When did Unicode add Georgian capitals?

Mtavruli letters entered Unicode in version 11.0, released in June 2018, together with mappings from Mkhedruli to Mtavruli. Unicode defines Mtavruli as the upper case of Mkhedruli but not as its title case, so capitalising the first letter of a word should leave Georgian unchanged. Before 2018, fonts had carried the capitals in their own incompatible ways, some of them on the Latin capital positions.

Why did browsers hold text-transform back?

Chrome and Firefox added workarounds in 2018 so that converting Georgian to upper case with CSS text-transform no longer produced Mtavruli, while the reverse conversion still worked; a W3C note of September 2024 said the workaround was still in place. The written tradition behind all this was inscribed by UNESCO as intangible heritage in 2016.

Frequently asked questions

Buyers' questions about Georgian IPs and Georgian text, answered with the Unicode record and our catalogue.

Which carriers do you list in Georgia?

Only one carrier shows under Georgia in the catalogue now, namely Lumina Broadband. The name belongs to the party that advertises the addresses, a fact anyone can confirm with a free tool. We use it to organise the range; it is no guarantee about who provides service to the reader.

Why do my Georgian headings show empty boxes?

Georgian headings most likely show empty boxes because a style or a script that turned the text into capitals and met a font without Mtavruli. Check whether the heading carries text-transform or was typed in capitals, then test it with a font known to include the Georgian capitals.

Should Georgian search treat capitals and ordinary letters as the same?

Yes, for most purposes Georgian search should treat capitals and ordinary letters as the same: Mtavruli is used only for all-caps display, so a word typed in it means the same as the word in Mkhedruli. Whether your software folds them together depends on the Unicode version its case tables follow, so test it.

Should Georgian names start with a capital letter in my form?

No: a Georgian form should not force an initial capital. Georgian does not capitalise the first letter of a name or a sentence, and Unicode gives Mkhedruli no title case. A form that forces an initial capital should leave Georgian input exactly as typed.

Which fonts show Georgian capitals?

A W3C font test of Georgian capitals found Mtavruli displayed in Menlo, Helvetica, Helvetica Neue, Segoe UI and Calibri, and missing in Arial Unicode MS and Sylfaen. Fonts change with system updates, so repeat the check on the devices you support.

Is the carrier's name the company that owns the address?

Not necessarily. ProxyJam lists the network that announces the address; the registry record can name another holder, so check both with a lookup. IP Checker

Can I choose the town?

No. A ProxyJam ISP proxy in Georgia is chosen by carrier, not town; the address comes from that carrier's pool, so look up where it surfaces once issued. What Is My IP

Does the IP change during the period?

No. A ProxyJam IP in Georgia stays the same from the day you order to the end of the paid period.

Can I try it before committing?

ProxyJam has no free trial; a first order can be refunded within 24 hours, the window for testing the address on your own targets. Refund Policy

Is using proxies in Georgia legal?

We give no legal advice; check the rules that apply to your work. Some targets are reviewed before we enable work with them, as the acceptable use policy sets out. Acceptable Use Policy
