Our catalogue places each Maltese carrier under a filing location, and the table shows only that. The address is drawn from the carrier’s pool; a geolocation database may give it a different locality, and we do not promise one. Look it up after issue with What Is My IP through the proxy or the IP checker, and file the country, the town and the network it returns.
A form built around other countries' postcodes may reject VLT 1117 or SLM 1000 because it expects digits only, or quietly drop the space. Run your own checkout from a Maltese address, with Malta preselected as a visitor there would see it, and try a code in the current format, a code that starts with two letters such as Tigné Point's, and a code in the older style of three letters and two digits that a long-standing customer may still type.
Gozo's localities carry letter codes of their own, VCT among them, and Żebbuġ exists twice: ZBB on Gozo and ZBG on Malta. A shop that sets delivery times or charges by island may key them off the postcode, so a check from Malta should cover a Gozo code as well as a Malta one and confirm that each Żebbuġ ends up on the right island, in the basket and in the ad that promised the delivery.
The postal list writes localities as they stand on an envelope, often with the Maltese article in front: Il-Ħamrun, Tas-Sliema, Iż-Żejtun. A store locator or address autocomplete serving Malta may need to match those forms as well as the bare names. Viewed from a Maltese address, a site's own locality list shows which forms it offers a local customer. Street names follow the same habit, Triq for street, and a P.O. Box is written Kaxxa Postali, as in Kaxxa Postali 85, Tas-Sliema, SLM 1000, so a form that expects a house number first may stumble on it.
If a Maltese bank, health service or government portal is on your list, raise it before ordering: our acceptable use policy names financial services, healthcare and government systems as regulated sectors, and we verify those targets first.
A Maltese postcode is letters followed by digits. The letters identify the locality, the next three digits the street within it, and the last digit a group of delivery points or addresses. It is printed in capitals, with one space between letters and digits, on the line below the locality name, so ZTN 1073 points to a street in Iż-Żejtun and a small group of doors on it.
MaltaPost introduced postcodes in 1991. Since 2007 they have had three letters and four digits; before that a code was three letters and two digits written after the locality name, as in VLT 05 for Valletta. Some codes begin with two letters, TP for Tigné Point among them, and a few sites inside a locality have codes of their own, such as SCM for SmartCity Malta.
The postal guidance notes that personal postcodes covering a particular area are also in use, and they may not follow the standard format. A Maltese address runs from the most specific line to the most general: addressee, premises and street, locality in capitals, postcode, then MALTA. A form that reorders those lines, or accepts digits only in the postcode field, may still mangle a valid address. P.O. Box addresses carry a locality postcode like any other, so a separate box field is not needed to accept one.

The country and the carrier are fixed when you order, so the code carries neither. Put in the host, port, username and password that come with the address, send one request, and check that the response reports the country you ordered.
Questions about Maltese addresses and the postcodes behind them, answered from the postal guidance cited above and our catalogue.
Malta has a single entry in the catalogue: Lumina Broadband. Think of it as a filing label taken from the announcing network, the one a lookup on the address reveals. It is not a claim about which company serves homes on the islands or supplies your line.
A Maltese postcode is three letters for the locality, a space and four digits, in capitals: VLT 1117 is in Valletta, SLM 1000 in Tas-Sliema. Codes in this form have been used since 2007, and they sit on their own line under the locality name.
A Maltese customer may enter a postcode with two letters because a few codes begin with two letters, TP for Tigné Point among them, and personal postcodes covering a particular area may not follow the usual format. A validator that insists on three letters can turn such a customer away.
No: Gozo postcodes follow the same format as Malta's, with their own locality letters: VCT for Victoria, and ZBB for Żebbuġ in Gozo, which is distinct from ZBG for Żebbuġ in Malta.
A Maltese address goes from the most specific line to the most general: addressee, premises and street, locality in capitals, postcode, and MALTA last. The postal guidance also advises against punctuation unless it is part of a name.
Not necessarily. ProxyJam lists the network that announces the address; the registry record can name another holder, so check both with a lookup. IP Checker
No. A ProxyJam ISP proxy in Malta is chosen by carrier, not town; the address comes from that carrier's pool, so look up where it surfaces once issued. What Is My IP
No. A ProxyJam IP in Malta stays the same from the day you order to the end of the paid period.
ProxyJam has no free trial; a first order can be refunded within 24 hours, the window for testing the address on your own targets. Refund Policy
We give no legal advice; check the rules that apply to your work. Some targets are reviewed before we enable work with them, as the acceptable use policy sets out. Acceptable Use Policy
