## Which Mexican jobs suit a fixed address?

### How do Mexican telecom offers look to local customers?

Operators' plan pages, coverage maps and terms are written for Mexican customers, and a site may show its Mexican version only to a visitor from MX. Capture them from a Mexican address on a fixed schedule and keep the date on every capture, together with the address it came from. Pages saved before 17 October 2025 may cite the IFT; pages saved after may cite the CRT, and the date is what tells you which regulator a page was written under.

### What do prices look like in Mexican shops?

A retailer selling to Mexico may show a visitor from MX prices for Mexico, delivery options for Mexican states and promotions that never appear abroad. Capture the Mexican version from a Mexican address and the series you build compares like with like. Keep the address fixed for the whole study, so a change in the numbers is a change on the shelf and not a change of vantage point.

### Can I keep Mexican accounts on one origin?

A Mexican brand running its own profiles, or an agency a client has authorised to manage them, can give each profile one Mexican address for the period. When the brand's own team asks where a sign-in came from, the answer is the same Mexican carrier every time, which keeps the account's history simple to read. Note which address belongs to which profile in your team's records.

### Are Mexican banks and government portals checked first?

Mexican banking, health and government targets are opened only after we review the request. Contact us before ordering if your Mexico work involves one; the acceptable use policy has the categories.

## Quick Setup for ISP Proxies in Mexico

The country and the carrier are fixed when you order, so the code carries neither. Put in the host, port, username and password that come with the address, send one request, and check that the response reports the country you ordered.

### Python

Send a request through the Mexico address with Python requests.

```
import requests
# HOST, PORT, USERNAME, PASSWORD come with your order (dashboard or API)
proxy = "http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT"
proxies = {
    "http": proxy,
    "https": proxy,
}
response = requests.get(
    "https://example.com/",
    proxies=proxies,
)
print(response.status_code)
```

### Node.js

Route axios through the Mexico address in a few lines.

```
import axios from "axios";
import { HttpsProxyAgent } from "https-proxy-agent";
// HOST, PORT, USERNAME, PASSWORD come with your order (dashboard or API)
const proxy = "http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT";
const agent = new HttpsProxyAgent(proxy);
const response = await axios.get(
  "https://example.com/",
  {
    httpAgent: agent,
    httpsAgent: agent,
  },
);
console.log(response.status);
```

### cURL

One command, one request, one address in Mexico in the response.

```
# HOST, PORT, USERNAME, PASSWORD come with your order (dashboard or API)
curl -x http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT \
     https://example.com/
```

## Mexico's regulator, before and after

### How long did the IFT exist?

The Federal Telecommunications Institute was created on 10 September 2013, replacing Cofetel, which dated from 1996. It regulated spectrum, telecommunications and broadcasting networks and services, granted concessions and promoted competition in the sector. A Mexican document, contract or web page that refers to the IFT was written under that arrangement, and reading it today means checking whether the rule it cites has carried over.

### What did the amendment and new law do?

In November 2024 Congress approved a constitutional amendment eliminating several autonomous agencies, the IFT among them. A new telecommunications law took effect on 17 July 2025 and created the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission, the CRT, inside the Agency for Digital Transformation and Telecommunications, the ATDT, run by a board of commissioners. The CRT came into being once the Senate had confirmed them; until then the old and new laws both applied. Where the IFT had stood as an autonomous institute, the CRT sits within an agency of the executive, which is the change a policy document written in 2024 cannot reflect.

### What happened on 17 October 2025?

The IFT was dissolved on 17 October 2025, when the CRT's president was named. Pending procedures were briefly suspended under a transitional article, and the CRT took over concessions and spectrum. None of this changes how a Mexican address reports itself: the country is MX and the network is whichever one announces the address range, whatever body regulates the carrier.

## Frequently asked questions

Questions about Mexican addresses and the regulator change, answered against our catalogue.

### Which carriers do you list in Mexico?

ProxyJam lists these carriers for Mexico, spelled as the catalogue spells them: Lietpark Communications, Lumina Broadband.

### What is the ATDT, and why do Mexican pages mention it?

The ATDT is the Agency for Digital Transformation and Telecommunications, a cabinet-level agency of the federal executive. Since the law of 17 July 2025 the CRT sits inside it, so a Mexican telecom page written after that date may cite the agency, the commission, or both; one written earlier cites the IFT.

### Why does a Mexican page still mention the IFT?

A Mexican page still mentions the IFT because it was written or last updated before 17 October 2025, or because nobody has edited it since. Treat the mention as a date stamp: compare it with a capture of the same page later, from the same Mexican address, to see whether the site has caught up. A page that names both bodies may have been edited during the transition.

### What did the IFT regulate before it closed?

Before it closed, Mexico's IFT regulated spectrum, telecommunications and broadcasting networks and services, and access to infrastructure; it also granted concessions and promoted competition in the sector, from 10 September 2013 to 17 October 2025. Pages that quote its rulings describe that period, so keep the capture date with them.

### Which regulator should a dated Mexican capture be read against?

A Mexican capture taken after 17 October 2025 should be read against the CRT inside the ATDT; the IFT no longer exists. For older captures keep the name the page cites and the date you took it, so a reader knows which arrangement applied.

### Is the carrier's name the company that owns the address?

Not necessarily. ProxyJam lists the network that announces the address; the registry record can name another holder, so check both with a lookup.

### Can I choose the town?

No. A ProxyJam ISP proxy in Mexico is chosen by carrier, not town; the address comes from that carrier's pool, so look up where it surfaces once issued.

### Does the IP change during the period?

No. A ProxyJam IP in Mexico stays the same from the day you order to the end of the paid period.

### Can I try it before committing?

ProxyJam has no free trial; a first order can be refunded within 24 hours, the window for testing the address on your own targets.

### Is using proxies in Mexico legal?

We give no legal advice; check the rules that apply to your work. Some targets are reviewed before we enable work with them, as the acceptable use policy sets out.
